Everything was great, from beginning to the end. We even saw more things than I expected we are going to see. The driver wasn’t talking much, what suits me, he stopped on every important photo/trip destination and dealt great with a hard/bumpy road. The berber and camel riding, the camp in the desert, dinner, sunrise and sunset, restaurants and caffes we stopped by the way, everything deserves 5 stars. I reccomend this 100%.
The pick-up worked great at the hotel. Our driver Ali was very friendly and took some photo spots with us. The journey is quite long, we even had snow in the Atlas Mountains, but the route always offers beautiful views! The stops in Ait Ben Haddou and Ouarzazate are also very nice. Arrived in Zagora, we were received very nicely by Ismael, the guide, and enjoyed the camel ride to the camp. The camp is really beautiful, the food is delicious and the starry sky is unique. The guides made a fire and there was singing and dancing. The night was short, but the breakfast was good. The way back, including the camel ride, was like the way there without any problems. We felt comfortable at all times and can recommend the trip! – TOP!!!
This was the highlight of our 7 days in Marrakech. We were picked up at our Riad in the Medina by khalil . Can’t say enough about our time with khalil. He was great to be with and very knowledgeable. We hadn’t anticipated learning so much and getting his perspective on so many things. It really made us appreciate Morroco so much more. The camel ride and night in the desert was well worth the drive (although the drive itself was probably as much of a highlight). The evening sitting by the fire listening to our guides drumming and singing was also a highlight.
Again, khalil really made the two days so much better
The tour was very nice despite the long drive, we saw a lot, our driver was very friendly and drove us very confidently through the Atlas Mountains. The guides in the camp were also friendly, everything was clean, hygienic, we were pleasantly surprised. It is advisable to take very warm clothes with you, as it gets very cold in the tent at night, we had them with us, so no problem. An all-round successful trip, thank you DesertBrise Travel
