We understand that travel plans sometimes change. This policy explains how cancellation requests and booking changes are handled by DesertBrise Travel.
Morocco journeys may involve different hotels, riads, desert camps, transport providers, guides and activities. For this reason, cancellation conditions may vary between bookings. The cancellation and payment conditions applying to your particular trip will be provided in your quotation or booking confirmation before payment. Those booking-specific terms take precedence for that booking.
Cancellation requests should be made in writing to info@desertbrise-travel.com. Please include the lead traveler name, travel dates and booking or inquiry reference where available. The cancellation date is the date on which DesertBrise Travel confirms receipt of your cancellation request.
Any refund available may depend on how far in advance the booking is cancelled, payments already committed to suppliers, accommodation cancellation conditions, non-refundable reservations, activities already purchased, transport arrangements, payment-processing costs and other expenses committed specifically for the booking. We will not describe an amount as refundable where it has already become non-refundable under confirmed supplier or booking conditions.
If a deposit is required, its payment conditions and refundability will be communicated before booking confirmation. A deposit may become partly or fully non-refundable after funds have been committed to suppliers.
Cancellation charges may increase as the departure date approaches because accommodation, vehicles, guides and other services may already have been reserved or paid. The specific terms applicable to your booking will be included in your confirmation.
If a traveler does not arrive, voluntarily leaves a trip early, arrives late or decides not to use a confirmed service, unused services are normally non-refundable unless the relevant provider agrees to a refund.
Where possible, DesertBrise Travel can assist with requests to change travel dates, itinerary, accommodation, number of travelers, activities or other trip services. Changes may involve additional charges or differences in price. Any known additional cost will be communicated before the revised arrangements are confirmed.
In unusual circumstances, DesertBrise Travel may need to cancel or substantially change a confirmed service. Where the cause is within our reasonable control, we will aim to offer an appropriate solution, which may include an alternative service, rescheduling or a refund relating to the affected service where appropriate. The solution will depend on the circumstances.
Travel can be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including extreme weather, natural disasters, road closures, strikes, government restrictions, border disruptions, serious transportation disruption, public-health emergencies or civil disturbances. In such situations, refund possibilities may depend on the cancellation conditions of the hotels and other suppliers involved. We will make reasonable efforts to recover refundable amounts and assist with practical alternatives where possible.
We strongly recommend arranging appropriate travel insurance soon after confirming your trip. Insurance may provide protection against eligible cancellation losses resulting from circumstances such as illness, injury or other covered events. Travelers should review their policy carefully.
When a third-party supplier agrees to return funds for a cancelled service, any amount due to the traveler will normally be processed after DesertBrise Travel receives and reconciles those funds.
Approved refunds will be processed as reasonably promptly as possible. Additional processing time may be required by banks, card providers, payment processors or international payment networks.
