Marrakech → Zagora — High Atlas, Aït Ben Haddou & Draa Valley
We leave Marrakech with the group and climb into the High Atlas on the N9. The mountain road is part of the journey, so we use the useful viewpoints and comfort stops rather than filling the day with shop stops.
At Aït Ben Haddou, there is time to enter the earthen ksar and understand why this fortified settlement sits where the old Sahara–Marrakech caravan routes crossed. A local guide can be arranged separately if the group wants a deeper visit.
After Ouarzazate, the road bends toward Agdz and the Draa Valley. Palms, irrigated plots and adobe villages start to replace the high mountain landscape. We continue to Zagora for dinner and the first overnight, keeping the evening simple after a full road day.
