Day 1
Casablanca, Rabat and Chefchaouen
Meals: No meals unless arranged
Included: Private transport; planned sightseeing stops
Meet your driver in Casablanca and begin with the city’s Atlantic character. When timing allows, visit the exterior or interior of Hassan II Mosque before continuing to Rabat. See the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V and the Kasbah of the Udayas, then travel through changing northern landscapes to Chefchaouen. Settle into your riad and enjoy an unhurried first walk through the blue medina.
Day 2
Chefchaouen, Volubilis and Meknes to Fes
Meals: Breakfast
Included: Private transport; route stops
Start early enough to enjoy Chefchaouen before the day visitors arrive. Continue toward the Roman site of Volubilis, where mosaics and ruined arches reveal another layer of Morocco’s history. Pause in imperial Meknes for its monumental gates and old-city atmosphere, then arrive in Fes. This is a varied day, moving from Rif mountain streets to Roman archaeology and an imperial medina.
Day 3
Fes medina with a local guide
Meals: Breakfast
Included: Licensed local guide in Fes
Explore Fes el-Bali with a licensed local guide who can turn the maze into a living story. The route may include historic madrasas, artisan quarters, food markets, fountains and panoramic views over the tanneries. The experience is adapted to your interests and mobility; there is time to ask questions, meet craftspeople respectfully and pause for lunch rather than rushing between photo stops.
Day 4
Fes to Erg Chebbi across the Middle Atlas
Meals: Breakfast and dinner
Included: Private transport; camel or 4x4 camp transfer; desert camp
Leave Fes for the Middle Atlas, passing cedar landscapes, mountain towns and the broad Ziz Valley. Regular stops break up this long but scenic drive. Near Merzouga, trade the road for the dunes and reach your desert camp by camel or 4x4, according to preference and weather. Watch the light change across Erg Chebbi, dine at camp and experience the quiet of the Sahara after dark.
Day 5
Erg Chebbi to Todra Gorge and Ouarzazate
Meals: Breakfast
Included: Private transport; scenic and cultural stops
Wake early if you would like to see sunrise, then leave the dunes after breakfast. Pass Rissani and follow the oasis road west to Todra Gorge, where limestone walls rise above the valley. Continue through southern towns, palm groves and changing rock formations toward Ouarzazate. The day reveals the inhabited Sahara—not only dunes, but farms, ksour, market towns and water-shaped valleys.
Day 6
Ait Ben Haddou and the High Atlas to Marrakech
Meals: Breakfast
Included: Private transport; Ait Ben Haddou visit
Visit the earthen ksar of Ait Ben Haddou with time to understand its defensive architecture and trans-Saharan setting. Continue over the High Atlas by the safest available route, with panoramic pauses when conditions permit. Descend toward Marrakech and arrive at your riad in the late afternoon or evening. The scenery changes dramatically from pre-Saharan valleys to mountain passes and the Haouz plain.
Day 7
Marrakech and departure
Meals: Breakfast
Included: Marrakech visit when timing permits; agreed drop-off
Use the final day according to your flight time. A guided Marrakech visit can include the Koutoubia surroundings, Bahia Palace area, artisan souks and Jemaa el-Fna, with the route adjusted for opening times and your interests. If you are staying longer, we can end at your riad; otherwise, transfer to Marrakech airport. The tour concludes, but the day does not need to feel hurried.
