13-Day Imperial Cities & Sahara Tour from Casablanca

This is the history-led version of a grand Morocco journey: all four imperial cities receive context, while the Sahara and kasbah road prevent the trip from becoming a cities-only circuit.

The route begins with Casablanca and Rabat, then links Meknes, Volubilis and Fes so Morocco’s imperial and pre-Islamic history unfolds in sequence. Two Fes days allow one guided medina experience and one flexible day for ceramics, cooking, gardens or personal interests.

From Fes, the tour crosses the Middle Atlas to Erg Chebbi for a full desert day and camp night. The return to Marrakech follows Rissani, Todra, Dadès, the Rose Valley, Skoura and Aït Ben Haddou. Three Marrakech nights at the end are intentionally varied: a guided heritage day, a modern/garden day and a final flexible day for food, craft or rest.
