Your meeting will be in Foum Zguid with your desert guide. Before beginning your desert tour, head to Erg Elmhazil, one of Morocco’s largest sand dunes. The first brief break will be to take in the breathtaking view of Elmadouar Sghiir, a Tajine mountain. Before crossing the dry lake known as Lake Iriki, you will then visit the fossil plateau. after traversing the lake Iriki plateau’s half. You will enjoy making the long drive to nomad camp through the sand dunes. After you have a cup of tea, the camel team will be waiting to take you to the Iriki big dune so you can watch the sunset. You can listen to Berber music by the fire after dinner when you get back to the camp.

The following morning, after breakfast, we will go to the nomadic school to see how the nomad kids commute to class and to get more information from the teacher about the nomad kids’ way of life. We’ll also stop by the small village of Sidi Abd Enbi and the old ksar, an abandoned building that once housed our great-grandparents. Then we’ll return via the same route to Foum Zguid..
