Explore the Moroccan Kasbahs and Climb Mt Toubkal on 5 Day combined Toubkal & Sahara Tour

5 Days mixture between two different part of Morocco, Atlas Mountains, and Desert. So first part which Starts by trekking in the Atlas Mountains Toubkal ascent is an adventure part and the second part which is Camel ride in Erg Chebbi Merzouga and night in Berber camp for fun and relax.
The following option is an example of that combined tour and is an express Toubkal Ascent Trek followed by a more relaxed drive to the edge of the Sahara; just at about 40kms away from the Algerian borders.

Day 1marrakech - imlil - base camp of toubkal

• pressure from marrakech to imlil and trek to toubkal shelter via aremd & the mizane valleyleaving the city behind we pressure south today, towards the craggy peaks and plunging valleys of the toubkal massif. crossing the haouz simple we bypass via the tiny town of asni, from wherein our road starts to climb toward the foothills of the massif. underneath us the valley of the oued rhirhaia stretches out into the distance and small villages hold to the edges of the steep hills as we meander our way in the direction of the village of imlil. here we depart our automobile and, within the corporation of our mountain manual, begin our trek, heading along the mizane valley, first in the direction of the village of aremd and then onto the shrine of sidi chamarouch. constructed on a moraine spur overlooking the valley ground, aremd is the largest village in the valley and gives an thrilling blend of traditional terraced farming, gites and streets that appear to be permanently gridlocked by goats and farm animals. for generations the neighborhood berber villagers have labored these lands, generating corn, potatoes and walnuts from the cruel landscape. continuing east and crossing the flood simple our path takes us along mule tracks and up into the high rocky cliffs above the valley. crossing the river we subsequently come to the pastoral shrine of sidi chamarouch, which attracts vacationers and pilgrims alike (even though only muslims are allowed to cross the stone bridge to visit the marabout shrine itself). the village sits besides a small waterfall, a jumbled cluster of homes that appear to melt collectively into an anarchic mass. from here the path keeps to climb gradually, snaking and zigzagging its manner as much as the snowline and the toukbal refuge (3206m), our forestall for the night. approx 5hrs

wake up early , simply prior to sunrise, we’ve a 1h30 camel ride at dawn to explore the place further and we head again to merzouga on our camels. when we reach merzouga, have breakfast & have the possibility to bathe and then we start our adventure through the stony desolate tract and over the atlas mountains, with masses of stops for pictures, exploring and lunch as we return to marrakech. the standard arrival time in marrakech is between 17:00hrs and 18:00hrs.
