Marrakech and Agadir are doors that open onto the Sahara. So is Fez. From the imperial city, cross the Talghemt pass. It is not yet the desert, but it is already coming. The land covered with oases: it is the Tafilalet, a transitional region where the greens of the vegetation still compete with the ochre of the sands. Following the trail of the old caravans, you reach Rissani, the cradle town of the ancient Alaouite dynasty. That’s it; you are at the edge of the desert; for the only horizon, dunes and their soft curves beaten by the Chergui, the Saharan wind.

Venture further. Go on camel excursion. Forget the bustle of the cities and bivouac in the middle of the sands in comfortable tents! Join the majestic dunes of Merzouga: dive in and treat yourself to a sand bath in the middle of a sumptuous setting. Spend the night on the site: in the morning, the sun rises over the dunes and composes a beautiful picture.

Many other curiosities are on the menu of the Moroccan desert: the dune of Tinfou, exceptional because it is far from the desert! The oasis of Erfoud also, finally, the mysterious Errachidia.

On foot or on camelback, get ready to hike through the desert and disconnect yourself from everyday life!
